Season 1 Overview

The joint venture of TVF and Amazon Original is back again with Panchayat after a grand hit "Hostel Daze". Starring Jitendra Kumar in the lead, Panchayat is a comic-drama series. As soon as the trailer arrived, it started getting a positive response on Youtube.
This series was shot in actual locations after taking permission from the government which took several months. 
Panchayat is a comedy-drama series, which showcases the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi who is in search for a job. The lack of opportunities urges him to join as secretary of a Panchayat office in the remote village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh. Stuck between crazy villagers and a difficult village lifestyle, Abhishek starts his job with the sole motivation of getting out of there as soon as possible for which he even prepares for Common Admission Test (CAT).
