"La Casa De Papel" AKA "Money Heist" is a Spanish web television crime drama series created by Álex Pina for Netflix.
The show was made for Spanish channel Antena 3 as "La Casa De Papel" which released in two parts, the first one came up in May 2017 and the second part released in July 2017. Netflix bought the global rights of the show and released the first season on December, 2017 worldwide.
Season1 overview (aired on 20December, 2017)
Season 1 begins when a man designated as 'Professor' saves a robbery failed woman named Tokio from being caught by the police and proposes her the idea of "The Greatest Heist in Spanish History". A team of 8 members executes a well planned robbery at the Royal Mint of Spain in Madrid. The group takes 67 hostages as a part of their plan to print and escape with 2.4Billion Euros. This heist runs parallel to the flashbacks of preparation time.
Season 2 overview (aired on 6April, 2018)
The second season begins with the Professor waiting in the car while Raquel ransacks the place where the robbery was planned. With the passing time, Tokio wonders if something happened to Professor and turns Rio and Denver up against Berlin's assurances to wait for the last call. Under the Arturo's leadership, hostages come up with a brand new plan to escape the bank. On the road to end up the second season, Raquel is accused of siding with the enemy and is suspended with an investigation turned up against her.
